Daily project coordination of internal and external resources to support Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction activities for BESS projects from pre-construction to Construction
Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams to ensure resources focus on the right activity to meet project schedule
Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection, and jurisdictional stakeholders
Develop the project's technical scope and optimize project variables to improve technical and financial feasibility
Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations and jurisdictional needs
Coordinate engineering, estimating and procurement requirements; support E&C engineering and cost estimating teams
Present and actively manage financial models through executive budget approvals
Competitively source, negotiate and execute commercial contracts for geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC construction services
Engage software applications to manage critical data, deliverables, and report on key indicators
Actively communicate and interface with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulatory Agencies, Local Communities, and other stakeholders
Present project progress and risk mitigation to various levels of management and ensure hand-off-ready construction plans
Manage multiple projects across the United States and Canada; occasional travel required
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting preferred
Experience in related engineering and construction of renewable energy projects preferred
Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects is a plus
PMP Certification preferred
Advanced Excel skills preferred
Excellent project management, communication, financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel occasionally to project locations and support local public hearings
