About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- We are seeking a Technical Consultant with strong experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), particularly with the HAM (Hardware Asset Management) module.
- This professional will be responsible for designing the solution architecture, defining processes, and implementing or evolving the HAM module.
- Advise clients on ITAM best practices, prioritizing standard platform usage and avoiding unnecessary customizations.
- Assess asset management maturity and propose continuous improvements to the hardware lifecycle.
- Structure and optimize data normalization to ensure data quality in the production environment.
- Develop automations for asset lifecycle events using Flow Designer.
- Implement and sustain hardware asset management processes on the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of CMDB data, including attributes and relationships.
- Create and maintain asset inventories, adjust dependencies, and develop HAM dashboards.
- Collaborate with areas such as Procurement, Finance, Security, and IT to ensure the asset lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and sustainment for ITAM, ensuring best practices, performance, and compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in ServiceNow ITAM projects.
- Certifications such as CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-Discovery, and CSA.
- Knowledge of asset governance practices (ITAM).
- Solid knowledge of CMDB, including governance and relationships.
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management practices.
- Intermediate / Advanced English.
- Sense of ownership and initiative in deliveries.
- Strong communication skills for working with technical teams and clients.
- Continuous interest in learning and professional development.
- Adaptability to dynamic and growing environments.
