Senior Account Executive – Telco Solutions
AOESenior Account Executive responsible for building new client relationships and managing complex project contracts in telecommunications sector. Focused on B2B customer acquisition and sales processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You systematically build new client relationships, from initial contact through to closing complex project contracts
- You proactively identify and target prospective customers (outbound), including direct outreach to decision-makers
- You conduct structured discovery conversations, clearly qualify opportunities, and maintain a robust pipeline
- You collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop proposals and business cases that are sound both technically and commercially
- You present solutions, negotiate, and confidently bring deals to a close
- You work with marketing on scalable lead generation and refine processes so outbound activities deliver measurable results
- You ensure a clean handover to Delivery & Finance with clear expectation management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of proven success in B2B new-business sales with complex sales cycles and consultative IT solutions
- Confidence selling IT services and digital solutions when engaging with C-level executives
- Strong in cold outreach and able to approach decision-makers directly, professionally, and effectively
- Fast learner who quickly familiarizes themselves with new customer contexts, topics, and technical interdependencies
- Strong closing skills: you negotiate decisively, stay persistent, and drive deals across the finish line
- Structured, with pipeline discipline, reliable forecasting, and clear qualification criteria
- Experienced with CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and modern sales tools; you use systems as management instruments
- Excellent German and English, both written and spoken
