About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You systematically build new client relationships, from initial contact through to closing complex project contracts
  • You proactively identify and target prospective customers (outbound), including direct outreach to decision-makers
  • You conduct structured discovery conversations, clearly qualify opportunities, and maintain a robust pipeline
  • You collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop proposals and business cases that are sound both technically and commercially
  • You present solutions, negotiate, and confidently bring deals to a close
  • You work with marketing on scalable lead generation and refine processes so outbound activities deliver measurable results
  • You ensure a clean handover to Delivery & Finance with clear expectation management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of proven success in B2B new-business sales with complex sales cycles and consultative IT solutions
  • Confidence selling IT services and digital solutions when engaging with C-level executives
  • Strong in cold outreach and able to approach decision-makers directly, professionally, and effectively
  • Fast learner who quickly familiarizes themselves with new customer contexts, topics, and technical interdependencies
  • Strong closing skills: you negotiate decisively, stay persistent, and drive deals across the finish line
  • Structured, with pipeline discipline, reliable forecasting, and clear qualification criteria
  • Experienced with CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and modern sales tools; you use systems as management instruments
  • Excellent German and English, both written and spoken
