About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including reconciliation, accounting tasks, and transaction processing.
  • Support the finance team by managing daily accounting and financial tasks.
  • Handle reconciliations, debits, credits, and general bookkeeping activities.
  • Contribute to the annual and periodic budgeting process, working with management to develop accurate financial forecasts and projections.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and support business operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Base knowledge of general accounting principles required.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with property management software (AppFolio), phone systems (Nextiva), and Adobe for documentation/design is a plus.
