Platform Engineer

• Design, build, and scale services that orchestrate Ray clusters across cloud and on-prem environments, supporting both VM-based and Kubernetes-based deployments
• Optimize control plane components for large-scale, distributed AI/ML workloads
• Build intelligent scheduling and resource management systems for heterogeneous compute clusters
• Develop features to enhance the reliability, performance, scalability, and observability of Anyscale-managed Ray workloads
• Support and optimize accelerator integration (e.g., GPUs, TPUs).
• Handle container image management and dependency resolution for distributed workloads
• Participate in code reviews, design and architecture discussions
• Provide on-call support, working closely with customer and field teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues

• Own EMEA Advocacy Execution
• Execute the EMEA Developer Advocacy strategy in close alignment with the global DevRel team
• Define, track, and report on KPIs for EMEA advocacy activities (community growth, engagement, content impact, and adoption signals)
• Design and implement instrumentation to measure and communicate the impact of your work
• Be a Public Technical Voice
• Represent Ray and Anyscale across EMEA as a trusted technical advocate
• Build a strong presence on X, LinkedIn, blogs, and other developer-facing platforms
• Speak at meetups, conferences, hackathons, and customer events throughout the region
• Tell Real Developer Stories
• Partner with external Ray users to produce high-quality technical content, including engineering blogs, talks, and case studies
• Showcase real-world use cases in AI infrastructure, ML platforms, LLM training, inference, and GenAI workflows
• Build and Ship Technical Content
• Collaborate with the Solutions and Engineering teams to build reference implementations, demos, and example applications
• Stay hands-on with Ray and Anyscale products by writing code, reviewing architectures, and validating technical correctness
• Grow the Ray Community in EMEA
• Help nurture and expand Ray’s developer community across Slack, GitHub, discuss.ray.io, and other online channels
• Engage directly with developers, startups, and enterprise users to gather feedback and surface insights to Engineering and Product
• Lead Regional, In-Person Engagements
• Plan and execute EMEA-focused meetups, workshops, hackathons, and regional conference presence
• Travel regularly across EMEA to engage with users and developer communities (expected travel up to ~30%)

Solutions Engineer

• Implement production AI / ML workloads using Ray and Anyscale, such as:
• - Distributed model training
• - Scalable inference and serving
• - Data preprocessing and feature pipelines
• Advise customers on ML system architecture, including:
• - Application design for distributed execution
• - Resource management and scaling strategies
• - Reliability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning
• Guide customers through architectural and operational changes required to adopt Ray and Anyscale effectively
• Partner with customer MLE and MLOps teams to integrate Ray into existing platforms and workflows
• Support CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, and operational best practices
• Help customers transition from experimentation to production-grade ML systems

Account Executive

• Own the Azure execution and Microsoft side of the deal for all Microsoft-sourced and Microsoft-influenced opportunities
• Lead Enterprise Azure engagements from beginning through POC and technical win, ensuring Microsoft-sourced deals are run in a consistent, repeatable way across all accounts
• Orchestrate complex deals across multiple stakeholders including Anyscale Account Executives, Field Engineers, and Azure sellers, leading with EQ and building trust on all sides
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Microsoft and Anyscale teams to influence outcomes: Bringing Microsoft context, leverage, and internal navigation
• Aligning Anyscale positioning with Azure priorities
• Removing friction between Anyscale, Microsoft, and the customer
• Never operate independently of the assigned Enterprise Account Executive on customer-facing activity
• Act as the primary point of contact for Microsoft Azure sellers, Global Black Belts, and partner teams
• Hand-off accounts to Anyscale sales team for successful expansion
