Key responsibilities & impact

Own Blackboard’s global events strategy and execution
Build and manage the global events calendar and prioritization framework
Own the global events budget with full accountability for spend
Own all logistics for global events
Build and own the full communications infrastructure surrounding every event
Build and own the operational relationship with Sales, CSMs, Sales Enablement, and Solution Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

8–10 years of event marketing experience
Demonstrated experience building and managing events that generate new logo pipeline
Deep familiarity with the Higher Ed market calendar
Proven ability to build and manage structured working relationships with Sales, CSM, Sales Enablement, and Solution Engineering teams
Budget ownership experience
Strong project management instincts
Data-driven approach to events measurement
Experience directing contract and local event staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
