Accountant

• Record monthly journal entries and support month-end close
• Review work prepared by Staff Accountants and finalize bank reconciliations
• Maintain accounting schedules including Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accrued Liabilities
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate variances and provide analysis
• Document and maintain month end close processes and procedures
• Drive automation and efficiency projects within NetSuite and across accounting workflows
• Assist with onboarding of new acquisitions into NetSuite and integrate accounting policies and controls
• Maintain accurate reconciliations, process documentation, and company policies for audit readiness
• Perform 100% reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts at year-end and respond to audit inquiries
• Aid in preparation of information for State & Federal income tax filings and assist with Sales & Use Tax filings
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, accounting standards and maintain strong internal controls
