About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the full accounting cycle: month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, reporting
Build scalable internal controls and finance processes
Manage treasury, tax, compliance, cash flow forecasting, and equity-related finance operations
Partner directly with leadership on budgeting, fundraising, financial modeling, and strategic decisions
Implement and optimize finance systems with AI-driven workflows and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

6–10 years of accounting/finance experience
Background in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
CPA preferred
Experience running finance/accounting operations independently
Strong systems/process builder mindset
Active user of AI tools in finance workflows
Interest in crypto/web3/digital assets is a plus
Must be based in or open to relocating to NYC
