About the role
- Lead a team of 4–6 engineers across the full stack (React, Node.js, Express, Postgres).
- Drive architecture and implementation decisions for our core platform.
- Partner with product and design to deliver user experiences that are fast, intuitive, and reliable.
- Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and performance.
- Manage and evolve our AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, S3, and related services).
- Coach and mentor engineers, helping them grow in both technical depth and ownership.
- Collaborate with leadership to align technical priorities with business goals.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
- Deep experience building full-stack applications using React and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) and modern DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to guide teams through complex projects from design to deployment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you thrive in a team environment.
