About the role Unearth problems, understand user needs, and move forward with imperfect information Serve as liaison between Product/Engineering and client partnership/operations stakeholders Learn and deepen knowledge of assigned product area(s) and underlying data structure Translate requirements into refined epics and user stories; include acceptance criteria and use cases Groom backlog regularly and prepare stories for development team Review defect tickets, re-create issues, assess priorities, and advise Sr. Product Manager Manage P1 communications, facilitate war room, and coordinate remediation Capture critical meeting information, maintain documentation repository, and serve as gatekeeper Identify product solutions leveraging existing technology/feature sets and advise on best practices Manage/plan roadmap, prioritization, project execution and stakeholder relationships Participate in estimation/story pointing and sprint planning; estimate own sprint tasks Facilitate user acceptance testing and act as key point of contact for follow-ups Support continuous improvement across the product team and assist senior product leaders as assigned Requirements Ability to translate technical speak into laymen's terms for stakeholders Awareness of architecture/functionality and tech stack used for product development Understands SQL enough to query the database to troubleshoot/gather information Ability to write simple to medium-complexity SQL scripts for data updates (a plus) Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Teams Experience responding to ISD tickets/work requests in a timely manner Ability to write and refine epics and user stories with acceptance criteria and use cases Backlog grooming and ability to review/re-create defect tickets Experience assessing impact of defects and prioritizing fixes across sprints Experience managing P1 internal communication and facilitating war rooms Ability to capture and summarize critical meeting information and maintain documentation Product area subject matter expertise and understanding of business requirements Experience preparing for PTO/OOO coverage plans and discerning escalations Participation in estimation/story pointing and sprint task estimation Facilitate user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements Demonstrated user empathy and user experience sensibilities Proven technical competence with MSFT suite (Microsoft Office) Excellent written and verbal communication, professional etiquette Strong attention to detail, time management, multitasking, and accountability Versatility across program activities, initiative, resilience, and ability to operate with urgency Copy Applicant Tracking System Keywords Tip: use these terms in your resume and cover letter to boost ATS matches.
