About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage SEOC work products, reports, and clinical/operational data analysis
Monitor staff activities for compliance and accountability
Review provider information, including specialty and NPI
Validate Veteran demographic information and authorization details
Review approved service codes and ensure alignment with authorized care
Interpret SEOC narrative requirements, referral limitations, and follow-up care parameters
Create reports, presentations, and white papers
Support meetings and workgroups
Support the VA Office of Veterans Community Care as a Remote Registered Nurse Case Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
Nurse III/IV level experience
Minimum of three (3) years of RN Case Manager experience
No sponsorship available
Must have lived continuously in the United States for the past three (3) years prior to appointment at a federal facility
Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Ability to push/pull with 30 lbs of force
