Serve as the primary tax subject matter expert in customer-facing communications during enterprise sales cycles, participating in discovery calls and technical deep dives.
Build credibility and trust with our customers' tax teams by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their compliance challenges across US sales tax and international VAT.
Support the sales & activation teams by preparing responses to customer inquiries with detailed tax compliance capabilities and implementation approaches.
Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to develop tax-centric value propositions for enterprise opportunities.
Train sales and activation teams on tax concepts, regulatory updates, and competitive positioning.
Phone calls with prospects and customers to walk through Anrok’s tax technical specifications.
Work with GTM teams on emails, Slack responses, and presentations in response to customer tax inquiries and requests.
Work with Activation teams on streamlining onboarding processes to get customers efficiently and accurately onboarded.
Support the core tax team with product development, tax research, and general support.
Stay current on legislative changes, including state economic nexus thresholds, product taxability laws, and international developments like e-invoicing mandates.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in sales tax or VAT roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a simplified and distilled manner.
