About the role
- Work closely with the Product Managers to develop and maintain a detailed software roadmap that aligns with Anova’s timelines and strategic goals
- Own the software product backlog, working with the Product Manager to prioritize features and align them with business and technical requirements
- Partner with teams to ensure software compatibility and seamless performance across platforms and devices
- Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and customer support to align the product strategy with business objectives
- Serve as the primary software lead in cross-functional team discussions
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to gather product requirements from stakeholders and customers
- Serve as the primary liaison between development teams and stakeholders
- Coordinate with Agile development teams on sprint planning and execution
- Define acceptance criteria and partner with QA to maintain product quality
- Identify potential risks and communicate proactively to develop mitigation strategies
- Work with the Software Product Manager to align on high-level product goals and priorities
- Partner with Product Owners to gather feedback and continuously improve products and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years as a Product Owner, ideally in IoT, consumer electronics, or other hardware-integrated software products
- Full professional proficiency in English, both written and oral
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
- Familiarity with hardware constraints and integration with software development
- Ability to analyze complex challenges and create solutions that address both software and hardware needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate product requirements and updates
- Ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and aligning on product goals
- Comfortable navigating both software and hardware constraints, ensuring integrated, high-quality product solutions
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent preferred
