About the role

  • Work closely with the Product Managers to develop and maintain a detailed software roadmap that aligns with Anova’s timelines and strategic goals
  • Own the software product backlog, working with the Product Manager to prioritize features and align them with business and technical requirements
  • Partner with teams to ensure software compatibility and seamless performance across platforms and devices
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and customer support to align the product strategy with business objectives
  • Serve as the primary software lead in cross-functional team discussions
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to gather product requirements from stakeholders and customers
  • Serve as the primary liaison between development teams and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Agile development teams on sprint planning and execution
  • Define acceptance criteria and partner with QA to maintain product quality
  • Identify potential risks and communicate proactively to develop mitigation strategies
  • Work with the Software Product Manager to align on high-level product goals and priorities
  • Partner with Product Owners to gather feedback and continuously improve products and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years as a Product Owner, ideally in IoT, consumer electronics, or other hardware-integrated software products
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and oral
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
  • Familiarity with hardware constraints and integration with software development
  • Ability to analyze complex challenges and create solutions that address both software and hardware needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate product requirements and updates
  • Ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and aligning on product goals
  • Comfortable navigating both software and hardware constraints, ensuring integrated, high-quality product solutions
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent preferred
