About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate county and user needs to create sustainable county and systems solutions that support overall county strategies
  • Develop infrastructure level recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the county’s business systems
  • Train employees on workflow processes and updated systems
  • Serve as a resource for questions and technological issues
  • Create detailed documentation on complex system requirements and business needs
  • Define project plans including scope and objectives, as well as discover and develop system specifications that drive system development and implementation
  • Provide direct support to department systems and applications queries, troubleshoot complex issues, and triage issues to appropriate subject matter expert for resolution as needed
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of job-related experience
  • In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship, including F-1 STEM OPT extensions
  • Ability to work occasional after-hours/weekends
  • Ability to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation
  • Successfully pass driver’s license background check
