About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, analyze, and evaluate county and user needs to create sustainable county and systems solutions that support overall county strategies
Develop infrastructure level recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the county’s business systems
Train employees on workflow processes and updated systems
Serve as a resource for questions and technological issues
Create detailed documentation on complex system requirements and business needs
Define project plans including scope and objectives, as well as discover and develop system specifications that drive system development and implementation
Provide direct support to department systems and applications queries, troubleshoot complex issues, and triage issues to appropriate subject matter expert for resolution as needed
Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of job-related experience
In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship, including F-1 STEM OPT extensions
Ability to work occasional after-hours/weekends
Ability to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation
Successfully pass driver’s license background check
