About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the local market owner of field execution and connect Premium field programs with wholesaler partners
  • Oversee High End and Beyond Beer brand execution at the local level
  • Work directly with wholesale partners to increase sales execution within accounts and drive consumer trial
  • Plan, organize, direct, and execute sales and marketing plans through the company distributor network and field initiatives
  • Spend 3-4 days per week in the market with teams and wholesalers, with 1 planning day in a home office
  • Build relationships with Wholesaler Management and Region teams
  • Manage High End and Beyond Beer programs within the assigned territory
  • Build and present proposals supporting Beyond Beer and High End brand development
  • Leverage local incentives, programming initiatives, AOE, and BBE programs to drive retail execution
  • Execute EDGE, IRIS, BEES, and other key enablers
  • Identify market opportunities involving sales, distribution, displays, POCM, and pricing
  • Present performance and actionable insights to the Commercial team during monthly WPPM
  • Coordinate with Commercial, Wholesalers, and CSO to develop and execute programs and business initiatives
  • Establish distribution, display, feature, promotion, and space management objectives
  • Manage ordering and inventory, quality control, selling and merchandising standards, program execution, pricing, and POCM utilization
  • Identify leads, gain new business, and grow Beyond Beer and High End brand distribution
  • Participate in wholesaler trade and S&OP routines to ensure forecasting accuracy and market-aligned POCM orders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar field
  • 5+ years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred
  • 2+ years of wholesaler management experience
  • Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Circana/IRI, BIR, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Advanced knowledge of craft beer and the brewing process
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to use data to build a sell-in story
  • Highly creative and able to generate fresh, impactful ideas and implement them
  • Proven ability to move between strategic and analytical thinking and execution
  • Ability to coordinate brand information and communication internally and externally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform light lifting
  • Ability to work in physical retail locations, attend late-night activations, and travel
