About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate and develop new business with new customers in your designated territory.
  • Be responsible for the key account management of our large existing customers.
  • Win new customers for our sensor product portfolio in industrial, medical, and transportation markets.
  • Launch new products in close coordination with our product management and product development teams.
  • Maintain direct customer contact and relationship management.
  • Provide technical support to our customers and understand the applications and requirements of sensors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics.
  • Alternatively, you have years of successful experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor industry.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the sensor industry.
  • You have expertise selling pressure or flow sensors (or sensor components).
  • You are enthusiastic about independent, technical, and success-oriented work in harmony with our corporate culture.
  • Experience with sales tracking software.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to overcome commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.
  • Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables.
