Own the analytics function end-to-end
Lead a team and work directly with leadership on business insights
Responsible for analytics roadmap and meaningful metric tracking
Mix of strategic work (presenting to executives, alignment with product, operations, and finance) and technical work (reviewing analyses, debugging logic)
Own data governance, work with engineering on pipeline reliability and data lineage

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in analytics or data science, with at least 5 years leading a team
Strong SQL and Python skills—you can still do the work, not just manage it
Solid stats foundation: experimentation, causal inference, hypothesis testing
Experience with BI tools (Looker preferably, Superset, Tableau)
Strong presentation skills - ability to explain complex findings, clear, confident, no jargon, no death by slides
Nice to have: Master's degree in a data-related field (Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or similar)
Nice to have: Experience in ride-hailing, logistics, or any two-sided marketplace
Nice to have: Track record rolling out org-wide AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Copilot) and handling the change management that comes with it
Nice to have: Background in data lineage or metadata management
