About the role
- Lead a team of four designers, copywriters, and a rotating cast of agencies and freelancers.
- Create content that wins across organic social (10 platforms), influencer partnerships, paid social (Meta and TikTok), display, TV, radio, events, email, landing pages, and employer branding.
- Evolve brand guidelines for use by the entire company.
- Concept and execute integrated campaigns that combine brand and performance channels.
- Oversee external partners and provide frank, frequent feedback to ensure deliverables.
- Teach and coach team on storyboarding high-performing social content and campaign development.
- Mix oversight with hands-on execution, including filming or editing social/UGC content.
- Develop strategy decks, run brainstorms, and review creative across formats.
Requirements
- Evidence-based creative mindset using audience research and channel performance.
- Upper- and lower-funnel expertise (brand and direct-response).
- Experience building thriving organic social programs from the ground up.
- Experience with paid social (Meta and TikTok), influencer partnerships, and brand partnerships.
- Ability to oversee and execute copy, design, video, photo, and AI tools.
- Hands-on execution skills (storyboarding, editing, filming, jumping on camera for UGC/trends).
- Management experience balancing people and external agencies/freelancers.
- Track record of taking functions in-house and growing internal teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to senior leaders.
- Social media expertise with playbook for scaling presence across platforms.
- Comfortable shipping big work with a small team; player-coach mentality.
