- About the Role: AngelList is looking for a sharp, execution-focused Product Counsel to help us build the legal infrastructure for the next generation of private market innovation. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to structure and scale new financial tools for GPs, LPs, and Founders. This role reports directly to the General Counsel of Product. This is not a back-office legal role. We ship fast, and you’ll be expected to keep pace.
Requirements
- JD from a top-tier law school and active bar membership in good standing.
- 6–10 years of legal experience, with a strong tilt toward fintech, venture capital, or SaaS platforms.
- Expertise in product counseling with a working knowledge of securities law, privacy, and data.
- Demonstrated ability to own complex initiatives independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Comfortable navigating legal ambiguity in fast-moving, zero-mistake product environments.
- Strong communication skills—able to translate complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
