Key responsibilities & impact

Own legal counsel across the full product lifecycle — from early design through launch, scale, and iteration.
Advise on securities law, privacy frameworks, and compliance regimes (Securities Act of 1933, Exchange Act of 1934, ICA, IAA, GDPR, CCPA), including for Meridian and new infrastructure.
Draft and evolve core legal documents for fund products and investor-facing tools.
Build scalable legal processes that preserve product velocity without compromising compliance.
Work cross-functionally with compliance, BD, engineering, and marketing to align legal and business strategy.
Educate internal teams on the legal implications of product decisions and regulatory developments.

What you’ll need

JD from a top-tier law school; active bar membership in good standing.
6–10 years of legal experience with meaningful exposure to fintech, venture capital, or SaaS platforms.
Deep product counseling experience and working fluency in securities law, privacy, and data regulation.
A track record of owning complex initiatives end-to-end — not waiting to be directed.
Comfort operating in ambiguity in a fast-moving environment where mistakes aren't an option.
