About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help develop the technology that could change how the world generates renewable energy.
- As an Electrical Engineer, you will help bring this breakthrough technology from prototype to international deployment.
- Develop the electrical systems behind an innovative ClimateTech product and help prepare it for international serial production.
- Design and develop electrical hardware for the next generation of the Road Power Plant.
- Create electrical schematics, select components and design high quality PCB layouts.
- Perform simulations, laboratory testing, debugging and system validation.
- Develop prototypes and support the transition into serial production.
- Integrate sensors, actuators and control units into the overall product architecture.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, hydraulic, software and physics teams to solve interdisciplinary engineering challenges.
- Support real world testing and continuously improve hardware performance under practical operating conditions.
- Optimize existing electrical systems with a strong focus on reliability, manufacturability and scalability.
- Contribute to future controller generations and electrical architectures for international deployment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
- At least 2 years of hands on experience in electrical hardware development, electronic product development or comparable engineering roles.
- Experience developing electrical systems from concept through production readiness.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design, circuit development, component selection and system integration.
- Experience with testing, validation and debugging of electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and thrive in a fast paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English. German is considered an advantage.
- Ideally, you also bring experience with power electronics, embedded systems, renewable energy technologies or industrial product development.
