About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a Civil Engineer, you will develop the infrastructure behind the next generation of sustainable road power plants and support the entire development process through to international implementation.
Product development: Design innovative infrastructure components and structural solutions for a pioneering ClimateTech technology.
Structural design: Produce structural calculations and size components for demanding dynamic loads in daily operation.
Design & documentation: Prepare technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and scalable installation and implementation concepts.
Interdisciplinary development: Work closely with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and hydraulics teams to develop integrated technical solutions.
Materials & standards: Evaluate suitable materials, consider applicable standards, and ensure compliance with relevant safety requirements.
Prototyping & validation: Support the development from initial concepts through prototypes and testing phases to real pilot projects.
Certification: Assist in preparing ISO and CE certifications, including technical documentation and evidence collection.
Project coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing partners, suppliers, construction companies, and public project stakeholders, and support implementation.
Technical responsibility: Take on technical support and coordination for pilot installations and customer projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of professional experience (minimum 2 years) in civil engineering, structural engineering, or infrastructure development.
Proficiency with structural analysis software such as ANSYS, SAP2000, or equivalent programs.
Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD software, e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Experience preparing ISO and CE certifications.
Business-fluent German skills at least at C1 level to ensure smooth communication.
Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
Self-driven personality with a hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for a dynamic startup environment.
Ideally, you also bring startup experience, strong English skills, and an interest in sustainable infrastructure and ClimateTech.
