About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support & Consulting: Support for clinical and laboratory clients at 2nd- and 3rd-level (by phone, remotely and on-site), user training, and creation of user guides and user requirements
Technical Implementation: Installation, configuration and regular updates of the laboratory information system datalabX, including interfaces, and commissioning at customer sites or remotely
Customizing & Integration: Adapting datalabX to specific customer workflows and configuring laboratory instrument interfaces
Incident Management: Analysis, reproduction and long-term resolution of faults
Project Work: Participation and partial leadership in projects, e.g., system commissioning
Quality & Further Development: Participation in testing new release versions and close collaboration with sales
Rotating on-call duty with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed IT education (apprenticeship, HTL, FH, or university/TU)
Approx. 5 years of experience in this or a similar position
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, SQL databases, and networking
Experience in application support, system commissioning, and software support in eHealth or hospital environments
Knowledge of scripting or Java/C
Enjoyment of fault analysis, structured working style, and strong service orientation
Excellent German language skills, spoken and written
Specific experience with laboratory information systems (LIS), preferably in a hospital setting
