About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support & Consulting: Support for clinical and laboratory clients at 2nd- and 3rd-level (by phone, remotely and on-site), user training, and creation of user guides and user requirements
- Technical Implementation: Installation, configuration and regular updates of the laboratory information system datalabX, including interfaces, and commissioning at customer sites or remotely
- Customizing & Integration: Adapting datalabX to specific customer workflows and configuring laboratory instrument interfaces
- Incident Management: Analysis, reproduction and long-term resolution of faults
- Project Work: Participation and partial leadership in projects, e.g., system commissioning
- Quality & Further Development: Participation in testing new release versions and close collaboration with sales
- Rotating on-call duty with team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed IT education (apprenticeship, HTL, FH, or university/TU)
- Approx. 5 years of experience in this or a similar position
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, SQL databases, and networking
- Experience in application support, system commissioning, and software support in eHealth or hospital environments
- Knowledge of scripting or Java/C
- Enjoyment of fault analysis, structured working style, and strong service orientation
- Excellent German language skills, spoken and written
- Specific experience with laboratory information systems (LIS), preferably in a hospital setting
