About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the preparation of service offers (maintenance, modernization, technical inspections) by gathering technical data, costs, and schedules.
- Contribute to the analysis of customer needs by reviewing equipment history, performance reports, or support requests.
- Assist in drafting commercial proposals, customer presentations, and follow-up documents.
- Conduct market research on existing hydroelectric power plants, modernization opportunities, or upcoming calls for bids (RFP).
- Support the team in CRM management: updating contacts, tracking opportunities, and documenting interactions.
- Prepare comparative tables, cost analyses, or technical summaries to support account managers.
- Participate in internal or external meetings to observe technical and commercial discussions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a mechanical or electrical engineering studies
- Demonstrate strong motivation, initiative, and autonomy
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude (conceptualization and 3D perception, mechanism assembly, knowledge of mechanical connection and locking components, practical applications)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and changing priorities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual
- Legal status to work in Canada is required.
