About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate project close-out activities at the end of execution: Plan on-site work and activities related to the deficiency list
- Monitor completion of final engineering deliverables
- Support claims preparation
- Gather documentation for final commercial settlements
- Review non-conformities and identify lessons learned opportunities
- Review the project schedule, identify delayed items, and follow up with team members to ensure activities are completed on time
- Review and analyze engineering performance curves, follow up with Engineering Directors, and identify delays and blockers
- Review contract status and follow up with procurement on the sequence of events (Drawings – MM – PR – PO – PRIE – pre-production document – PS/PA – QA docket – DU)
- Review missing quality assurance documents
- Review hours charged to the project by role and validate them against the plan and forecast
- Prepare monthly reports for the client
- Create and maintain a matrix showing all active projects and the individuals responsible for each key role.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrate strong motivation, initiative, and autonomy
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude (conceptualization and 3D perception, assembly of mechanisms, knowledge of mechanical fastening and locking elements, practical applications)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with changing and competing priorities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual.
