Technical Sales Support Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitating sales by establishing a strong relationship with colleagues in Sales, Product Management, Quality and Engineering
- Providing accurate proposals in time and quality that meet customer needs and expectations
- Effectively interacting with other functions and customers to ensure targets are achieved
- Strong understanding of technical specifications of pumps and related equipment
- Proactive, Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
- Experience with hydraulic selection tools is an advantage
- Experience using CRM tools, proficiency in MS Office applications
- Experience with order execution of technical projects and SAP is valuable
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline is required
- Previous experience in the field of centrifugal pumps, other rotating equipment or flow control machinery is desired
- Background in machinery and mechanical systems; additional knowledge in electrical and automation is a plus
- Data-driven, fact-based decision making
- Ability to work efficiently across digital platforms
- Capability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and navigate in a multicultural environment
- Systematic, independent and energetic working approach, eager to do more
- Strong customer orientation with a solution-focused mindset
- English fluency (must-have)
- Spanish (must-have)
- French or other languages (advantage)
- Availability to travel up to 20% of time
