About the role
- Responsible for prepared to scale, orthographically correct, computer generated and completed arrangement drawings
- Check completed drawings to assure that they meet design and dimensional requirements
- Apply knowledge of line engineering, machine design, strength of materials, motor characteristics, and hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Perform shop inspection of completed machines
- Conduct field inspections, troubleshooting as required.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of drafting experience, largely on heavy-duty machinery
- Two years’ education beyond high school or documentable equivalent experience
- Experience with standard engineering analytical approaches to machine design problems
- Must have a working knowledge of Windows Explorer, AutoCAD Mechanical, and Solid Edge 3D Software
- The ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
