About the role
- Design, develop, and improve presses and forging lines
- Collaborate with design, production, service, and project management teams
- Ensure reliable, innovative technical solutions adhering to standards
- Perform mechanical design activities ensuring compliance with specifications
- Conduct structural analyses, calculations, and sizing checks
- Participate in the definition of materials and construction solutions
- Analyze critical issues and propose improvement solutions
- Prepare and update technical documentation of projects
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Technical diploma with proven experience (at least 5 years)
- Experience in companies manufacturing presses, machine tools, or complex industrial plants preferred
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD systems (preferred Siemens NX, Creo, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the main applicable technical standards (EN, ISO, Machinery Directive)
- Good knowledge of the Office package (mainly Excel)
- Knowledge of AS400 management software (preferred)
- Attitude to team working
- Responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
