About the role
- Conduct time-and-methods studies of productive assembly processes for turbine and generator equipment to reduce cost and cycle time and identify failures or improvement opportunities
- Prepare manufacturing, assembly, and painting routings for medium-sized, moderately complex parts
- Implement and monitor technical manufacturing instructions for parts and equipment according to established standards
- Provide support to production departments regarding process improvements
- Assist product engineering in developing new projects, adapting designs to the factory’s production characteristics
- Design fixtures and tools according to area needs
- Design packaging for the shipment of small parts
Requirements
- Technical diploma in Mechanics or related fields
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and/or NX
- Intermediate English
- Knowledge of static balancing and basic concepts of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of SAP – a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI – a plus
