About the role

  • Conduct time-and-methods studies of productive assembly processes for turbine and generator equipment to reduce cost and cycle time and identify failures or improvement opportunities
  • Prepare manufacturing, assembly, and painting routings for medium-sized, moderately complex parts
  • Implement and monitor technical manufacturing instructions for parts and equipment according to established standards
  • Provide support to production departments regarding process improvements
  • Assist product engineering in developing new projects, adapting designs to the factory’s production characteristics
  • Design fixtures and tools according to area needs
  • Design packaging for the shipment of small parts

Requirements

  • Technical diploma in Mechanics or related fields
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and/or NX
  • Intermediate English
  • Knowledge of static balancing and basic concepts of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Knowledge of SAP – a plus
  • Knowledge of Power BI – a plus
