About the role
- Overall responsibility for managing and coordinating assigned Wood Processing sales projects in North America, both technically and commercially.
- This includes performing or coordinating equipment dimensioning, quotation preparation, pricing and customer interface for our Wood Processing proposals
- Performing as Wood Processing sales team leader for multi product line proposals.
- Customer interface for proposal work
- Perform or coordinate Wood Processing proposal engineering, dimensioning and quotation preparation
- Overall responsibility for quotation pricing
- Internal and external interfacing
- Assigned marketing duties
- Travel in North America for customer meetings as well as potential overseas travel for internal training and meetings.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Pulp & Paper sciences, Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge of industrial wood yard equipment and unit operations
- Two to five years of operational or service experience preferred
- Knowledge of pulp mill wood yard or operations a plus
- Previous sales experience is not a requirement; however right customer-oriented and self-driven attitude and being organized is.
