About the role

  • Set up and lead a dedicated assembly planning group
  • Plan and coordinate the installation/assembly of the respective systems (turbines, penstock & gates) in collaboration with the project team both in the office and on site
  • Take responsibility for system-related installation costs (turbines, penstock & gates)
  • Create and maintain assembly plans and assembly documentation
  • Plan and optimize site personnel
  • Organize site infrastructure and temporary equipment
  • Prepare and negotiate specifications and scopes of work for installation contractors in coordination with other departments
  • Perform project-specific health, safety and environmental risk assessments
  • Provide technical support to resolve installation deviations

Requirements

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH/University, or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in hydropower is an advantage
  • Excellent MS Office and MS Project skills
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
