About the role
- Development and design of hydraulic turbomachinery with a focus on large pumps
- Understanding and interpreting hydraulic designs for turbomachinery
- Responsible for problem solving in machine design
- Design and optimization of mechanical components
- Preparation of manufacturing documentation
- Technical and production-related coordination with customers and suppliers
- As a project engineer, you will serve as the internal liaison to project engineering, calculations/analysis, project management, procurement and production planning
Requirements
- Completed technical university degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering (University or University of Applied Sciences)
- Professional experience in mechanical design or in turbomachinery is an advantage
- Excellent CAD skills, preferably in Siemens NX
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Resilience, flexibility and a strong work ethic
- Independent, self-directed working style
