- Perform highly complex and specialized technical activities aligned with the objectives and goals of the scope of work.
- Lead or participate in projects that require advanced technical expertise, conducting analyses, proposing improvements, resolving issues, and providing technical guidance to teams.
- Keep the company informed of market trends and best practices, contributing to strategic decisions and innovation.
- Comply with internal policies and procedures (quality, safety, environment, and health), ensuring suitable working conditions.
- Plan project tasks through engineering schedules, ensuring predictability and control.
- Evaluate customer technical specifications, identify critical items, and report relevant points to prevent deviations.
- Ensure appropriate technology selection through meetings and Design Reviews, reducing the risk of failures.
- Develop cost-optimized solutions to maintain product competitiveness.
- Perform design calculations for critical items, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and know‑how.
- Create and apply new calculation methodologies, increasing productivity and reliability in manufacturing, assembly, operation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical support to the factory, field, procurement, and planning teams, resolving non-conformities and ensuring final quality.
- Analyze commissioning data to validate designs and improve calculation tools.
- Prepare product/system designs, including calculations, reports, manuals, and review of drawings and bills of materials.
- Contribute technical work for seminars and conferences.
- Identify departmental improvement opportunities, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in the company's industry segment
- CAD systems
- Manufacturing and field assembly processes for equipment
- Advanced English
- National and international turbine standards
