About the role

  • Coordinate the Quality Engineering area within projects, ensuring expected results are achieved by setting priorities, monitoring indicators, and promoting improvements and automation in the operational and/or administrative processes under your responsibility;
  • Plan, create and execute inspections defined in the PIT – Inspection and Test Plan (PIT);
  • Apply root cause analysis (RCA) tools with proficiency;
  • Prepare quality technical documentation for projects, including dimensional measurements and manufacturing processes such as boilermaking, welding, machining, heat treatment, assemblies and non-destructive testing (liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing — LP, PL and US);
  • Coordinate the resources required to perform inspections according to the PIT, ensuring availability aligned with project planning, schedule and supply chain (suppliers);
  • Manage the NCR process (opening, supporting the departments involved and closure).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related fields)
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in the area will be considered a differential
  • Knowledge of SAP for process management and data integration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on advanced Excel for analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of Power BI for creating dashboards and KPIs (desirable)
  • Advanced English, with ability to read, write and communicate technically
  • Solid experience in an industrial environment, with the last 5 years in a leadership position within the Quality Engineering (QE) team
