About the role

  • Implement and maintain Andritz Quality Assurance System on site
  • Ensure quality requirements are followed at site according to Installation Manuals
  • Local contact with customer and authorities for all quality matters
  • Inspections follow-up according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
  • Reception of material at site with inventory database and tracking system
  • Perform and/or witness inspections in coordination with customer and site team
  • Initiate and follow-up on non-conformities
  • Collect quality records and elaborate final quality documentation
  • Collaborate with Installation Supervisors to ensure work is performed in compliance with Installation Manuals requirements
  • Contribute to overall quality and excellence in execution of Engineered Machinery projects

Requirements

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Passion for Quality and integrity
  • General knowledge on mechanical measurement devices
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical an asset
  • Practical knowledge of 3D measuring equipment, an asset
  • On site Safety training an asset
  • Effective communication skills in French & English (oral and written)
  • Self-driven, resourceful, rigorous
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel and flexible with work schedule
