About the role
- Basic design: 3D CAD modeling and detailing of mechanical components and assemblies
- Creation of technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs) and other technical documentation
- Support, tracking and review of detailed design in close collaboration with the involved disciplines (e.g., strength analysis, assembly, manufacturing)
- Technical support to the System Engineer during project execution and for the preparation of project documentation and as-built records
- Review of part and assembly drawings for quality and standards compliance
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Mechanical Designer (Konstrukteur) with a Swiss Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
- Experience with CAD/CAM/CAE software, preferably Siemens NX, Teamcenter, SAP
- Structured, precise and independent working style
- Good communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Organizational skills and a strong quality awareness
- English used as the standard language in international project teams
