About the role

  • Overall responsibility for managing and coordinating assigned Wood Processing sales projects in North America, both technically and commercially.
  • Performing or coordinating equipment dimensioning, quotation preparation, pricing and customer interface for Wood Processing proposals.
  • Perform as Wood Processing sales team leader for multi product line proposals.
  • Customer interface for proposal work
  • Perform or coordinate Wood Processing proposal engineering, dimensioning and quotation preparation
  • Overall responsibility for quotation pricing
  • Internal and external interfacing
  • Assigned marketing duties
  • Travel in North America for customer meetings as well as potential overseas travel for internal training and meetings

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Pulp & Paper sciences, Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of industrial wood yard equipment and unit operations
  • Two to five years of operational or service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of pulp mill wood yard or operations a plus
  • Right customer-oriented and self-driven attitude and being organized is preferred
