About the role
- Hydraulic design of water turbines for new hydropower plants and power plant refurbishments
- Simulation of transient operating conditions during the tender and execution phases
- Definition of guarantee requirements in coordination with Sales and Development departments
- Interface between the sales team and R&D; coordination with development departments regarding hydraulic development and model tests
- Coordination within international project teams
- Customer presentations including technical discussions with clients and consulting engineering firms
- Support during commissioning and plant measurements
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
- Knowledge of hydraulics for turbomachinery; initial professional experience desirable
- Good MS Office skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Independent and precise working style with strong problem-solving skills
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a high level of commitment
- Strong customer orientation
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
