About the role
- Provide independent legal advice for specific areas of the ANDRITZ Group, both nationally and internationally
- Review, comment on, negotiate and draft complex contracts (e.g., supply agreements, consortium agreements, subcontracts — primarily in international plant engineering), predominantly in English
- Provide legal support during project execution
- Participate in negotiations with business partners
- Coordinate and work with external law firms
- Provide support in arbitration and court proceedings
- Conduct internal training sessions
Requirements
- Law degree from an EU Member State (preferably Austria, Germany, France, Spain), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in an international environment, either in an in-house legal department or at a law firm; completion of the state legal examinations (Staatsexamen) or equivalent qualification is an advantage
- Full professional proficiency in English required; German and other languages are beneficial
- Independent and structured working style, resilience, strong team and communication skills
- Analytical abilities and negotiation skills
- High flexibility and commitment; willingness to travel internationally (up to 10% of working time)
