About the role
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Execution: Drive multidisciplinary teams through the full development lifecycle. You will bring together engineers, data scientists, and designers - often with competing priorities - to achieve unified results and seamless project integration.
- Highly Complex Customer and Program Execution: Act as the key bridge between Andesite leadership and government and commercial customers. You will manage complex contracts and deliverables, ensuring we meet or exceed mission-critical timelines while maintaining high-trust relationships with stakeholders.
- Champion Organizational Diplomacy: Navigate internal and external stakeholders with tact and influence. You will identify potential friction points across the company before they become roadblocks, building consensus and mobilizing resources to overcome obstacles.
- Build the Programmatic Foundation: Design and implement the frameworks for project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking. You will establish the “source of truth” for delivery timelines and expectations, ensuring transparency across the entire organization.
- Align Mission with Strategy: Balance immediate tactical requirements from customers with Andesite’s long-term product roadmap. You will ensure that every milestone delivered to a partner reinforces our broader goal of transforming the cyber defense landscape.
Requirements

- Mastery of Organizational Diplomacy: A proven ability to influence without authority, bringing together diverse teams from across the company to solve problems and hit deadlines.
- Technical Fluency: A strong background in software development processes and a deep understanding of modern technical infrastructure. You should be able to speak the language of engineers and data scientists comfortably.
- Cybersecurity Domain Expertise: Familiarity with key concepts including Zero Trust Architecture, Application Security, Threat Hunting, and Incident Response.
- Active US Government Security Clearance: You must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.
- High-Growth Mindset: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment where you must wear multiple hats and adapt to evolving mission needs.
- Exceptional Communication: Top-tier presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical updates into clear, actionable insights for leadership and customers.
