About the role
- Support client relationship owners in delivering high‑quality service
- Participate in client meetings and assist with follow‑up actions
- Monitor SLAs and escalate issues appropriately
- Assist in identifying potential upsell/cross‑sell opportunities
- Gather and document business requirements, workflows, and use cases
- Assist in developing functional specifications and data mapping
- Demonstrate system functionality to internal teams
- Support release planning and coordination
- Execute test plans for monthly releases and client enhancements
- Validate system changes and document defects
- Perform initial root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams
- Support QA/BA team members through shared testing responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plans
- Participate in internal and external project workstreams
- Assist in project planning, documentation, and risk tracking
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (QA, Development, Operations, Finance)
- Support and act as Project Owner client initiatives, providing coordination, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution, if needed
- Present monthly/quarterly updates on account performance, client health, and growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in business process, client account, or operational management, preferably in the life insurance or financial services industry
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in non qualified deferred compensation including: SERPS, DCPs, and Split Dollar
- Six Sigma certification a plus
- LOMA ALMI/FLMI or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
