About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Installation Manager(s) in leading the installation, project management, and service teams
- Increase branch operating profit by improving first-time-through (FTT) performance and reducing retail location remakes
- Conduct at least two days per week of ride-along field training using observation and demonstration
- Debrief with Installation Manager(s) and document training results
- Provide performance feedback to improve installation, project management, and service performance
- Analyze individual and team metrics to identify training focus areas
- Develop and deliver training on FTT rate, remakes, construction, service, installation, and homeowner satisfaction
- Partner with branch leadership to resolve open issues and identify improvement areas
- Improve back-office installation, project management, and service processes and paperwork
- Partner with product knowledge experts to develop and deliver monthly team and product training
- Meet or exceed planned margins and revenue goals through workforce capability and appropriate outsourcing
- Coordinate with Sales and Customer Process functions to align resources with demand fluctuations
- Lead installation-process safety initiatives and ensure safe practices are followed
- Ensure completion of required regulatory training and compliance with regulatory procedures
- Participate on the CORO Safety Committee
- Directly train, manage, and coach employees and subcontractors involved in the installation process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in the home improvement or closely related field
- Computer skills and management of computer-based information
- Customer orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, preferred
- Previous experience recruiting and managing independent contractors, preferred
- Ability to work and lead in a team environment
- Basic financial knowledge
