About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and modify CAD models for the needs of delivery partners and customers.
Ensure expected standards and best practices are being followed during model creation.
Respond to customer/delivery partner requests/inquiries.
Apply CAD expertise and knowledge in creating and delivering product drawings for use by manufacturing, vendors, delivery partners and end use customers.
Anticipate and recommend options or solutions to meet customer needs.
Work closely with Customer Service Representatives, RTQ&E, Manufacturing, Materials Management, Suppliers and customers to define requirements and provide timely and accurate solutions.
Engage in contact with manufacturing, vendors, delivery partners and end use customers to discuss process flow and product issues.
Conduct effective verbal and graphical communications to facilitate customer understanding of product solutions presented within Customer Experience and CAD teams.
Stay abreast of current CAD and architectural technologies and prioritize their application to Andersen’s CAD support services.
May develop or maintain programming related to CAD software automation features.
Review key performance indicators and recommend adjustments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate of Science Degree with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in drafting or related area of work.
High School Diploma with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in drafting or related work.
Expert level CAD and 3D modeling software experience.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Customer orientation and advocacy, flexibility, results orientation, self-development capability, tolerance of ambiguity.
