Senior Backend Engineer

• Design and implement backend services for payment processing, invoicing, reconciliation, and smart financial reporting.
• Build robust, auditable data pipelines that ensure accuracy and traceability across all financial operations.
• Develop and maintain integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, and financial data providers.
• Enforce data integrity standards and implement patterns for idempotency, retry logic, and failure handling in financial flows.
• Collaborate with compliance and product teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical implementation.
• Contribute to fraud detection logic, rate limiting, and access control mechanisms that protect financial operations.
• Own incidents end-to-end — investigate, resolve, and drive post-mortems to improve system reliability.

Backend Engineer – FinTech

Customer Support

• Drive platform growth and own the demand side by combining data, AI, and automation
• Translate revenue and growth targets into a clear product roadmap with measurable impact (conversion rate, repeat rate, margin per customer, automation rate).
• Own the buyer journey end-to-end: quoting, dynamic pricing, checkout, payment terms, delivery tracking, and support.
• Design intuitive, high-performance interfaces (buyer app, WhatsApp flows) that reduce friction and increase speed.
• Use data to identify growth bottlenecks (drop-offs in quoting, price sensitivity, delivery delays, payment term friction) and ship improvements fast.
• Build and optimize pricing logic, margin logic, and payment term orchestration in collaboration with Finance.
• Work closely with Sales to improve conversion and reduce manual workload through product and workflow improvements.

• Own the end-to-end product strategy for procurement, logistics, and operational payment infrastructure.
• Build automated supplier integration and sourcing systems that maximize availability and platform liquidity.
• Design intelligent supplier selection logic optimizing for price, lead time, reliability, and working capital impact.
• Automate order processing, transport booking, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmation to increase straight-through processing.
• Act as guardian of operational margin by eliminating leakage across procurement, logistics, and payment flows.
• Partner with Finance to embed automated controls for payment terms, credit limits, and risk-based decisioning.
• Leverage AI and data models to forecast demand, optimize purchasing decisions, and detect operational anomalies.

• Design and build backend services that power supply chain workflows — from order management to LSP integrations and real-time tracking.
• Develop event-driven pipelines that process high-throughput logistics data reliably and at scale.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party logistics providers, ERPs, and warehouse management systems.
• Own and evolve the data models that represent complex supply chain entities: shipments, inventory positions, fulfillment nodes.
