About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build scalable cloud solutions to solve a variety of problems as a Senior Cloud Engineer.
- Build and maintain an IaC codebase using tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Ansible.
- Understand and apply Cloud & DevOps best practices into client projects.
- Discuss and convey the business/commercial benefits of Cloud to clients.
- Troubleshoot across brownfield platform and application domains and design greenfield cloud platforms.
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products for client solutions.
- Mentor and upskill clients and teammates in cloud solutions and engineering best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have solid experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and willing to learn others where necessary
- Build and maintain an IaC codebase using tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Ansible.
- Understand Cloud & DevOps best practices and standards, and embed these into client projects.
- Comfortable discussing the business/commercial benefits of Cloud whilst being equally comfortable deep diving into Cloud or on-premise platform configurations where required.
- Comfortable troubleshooting across brownfield platform and application domains, as when designing greenfield cloud platforms.
- Ability to horizon scan and evaluate new technology options and vendor products and understand how these can be used to solve our clients problems.
- Advocate for mentoring and upskilling of client and other ANDi’s as part of day-to-day activities
- Have experience in leading technical teams
- Show previous experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role
- Have led or worked in a Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery environment.
