About the role
- Develop and implement data controls, data quality standards, and governance practices across the platform
- Support data integrity, metadata, and access controls to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose
- Oversee the data governance program, identify improvement areas, and implement best practices to enhance data quality, integrity, and security
- Develop and implement data quality standards and monitoring processes
- Assist in managing the data issue lifecycle, including tracking and supporting remediation efforts
- Monitor and report key data governance metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Lead data governance meetings and workshops, facilitating discussions and decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degrees or certifications in data analytics or governance preferred
- 4–7 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or data analytics
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting data quality and governance practices
- Experience managing data classification, access controls, and external data requests
- Experience working with data pipelines, reporting systems, or analytical datasets
- Experience writing, editing, or reviewing technical documentation for regulatory or banking contexts
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and consistency in data governance processes and controls
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks and contribute to team objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in structured, detail-oriented environments
