About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support planning, design, and implementation of environmental remediation projects, including dredging, capping, stream restoration, and wetland construction.
Prepare engineering design documents, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations.
Contribute to technical reports such as sampling and analysis plans, feasibility studies, and design documentation.
Perform environmental sampling of soil, sediment, and water sampling.
Provide field support for site inspections and construction oversight.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, planners, and biologists.
Participate in construction support activities, including reviewing contractor submittals and RFIs.
Ensure deliverables meet Anchor QEA’s quality standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Coastal, or Geotechnical Engineering.
6–10 years of experience in environmental remediation, including investigation, design, and construction.
Experience with sediment remediation projects (such as dredging and capping) and stream or wetland restoration projects.
Experience with project and/or task management including task planning, delegation, review of work by others, and budget tracking.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Willingness to travel for field assignments and meetings.
