About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support planning, design, and implementation of environmental remediation projects, including dredging, capping, stream restoration, and wetland construction.
- Prepare engineering design documents, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations.
- Contribute to technical reports such as sampling and analysis plans, feasibility studies, and design documentation.
- Perform environmental sampling of soil, sediment, and water sampling.
- Provide field support for site inspections and construction oversight.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, planners, and biologists.
- Participate in construction support activities, including reviewing contractor submittals and RFIs.
- Ensure deliverables meet Anchor QEA’s quality standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Coastal, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- 6–10 years of experience in environmental remediation, including investigation, design, and construction.
- Experience with sediment remediation projects (such as dredging and capping) and stream or wetland restoration projects.
- Experience with project and/or task management including task planning, delegation, review of work by others, and budget tracking.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Willingness to travel for field assignments and meetings.
