About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with International Product, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Engineering teams to define UX/UI strategy for priority growth markets
  • Lead product experiments using customer insights, market data, and user behaviors to create localized product offerings
  • Advocate for international customers by adapting workflows, visual hierarchies, and interaction models to regional and cultural expectations
  • Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for A/B tests, localized MVPs, and market-specific feature rollouts
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and Marketing to align priorities and execute pilots and releases
  • Design scalable UI frameworks for different markets and languages, including text expansion and right-to-left formatting
  • Use qualitative research and quantitative experiment metrics to validate design decisions and evolve the international user experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a Master of Design (MDes), MFA, or PhD in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Business or Economics candidates with relevant UX/product design industry experience are encouraged to apply
  • Active graduate student enrolled in an accredited degree program
  • Prior internship, industry experience, or academic research focused on UX/UI design and/or interactive product experimentation is highly preferred
  • Expertise designing for international audiences, including cultural nuances, localized behaviors, and language translation impacts on interfaces
  • Experience with rapid, iterative product experiments, A/B testing, and growth optimization
  • High proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Understanding of translating designs into responsive code
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work part-time for a six-month engagement
