Sales Operations Coordinator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and identify prospecting opportunities, industry trends, funding/grant opportunities, and relevant market intelligence to support sales and outbound efforts
- Monitor industry news and competitive insights and share relevant information with SDRs and Sales teams
- Assist with lead management, including inbound lead organization, qualification support, routing, and assignment to appropriate SDRs or sales representatives
- Perform data entry, data validation, and CRM/database clean-up to ensure accurate and organized sales records
- Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets related to sales activities and pipeline performance
- Monitor inbound inquiries and ensure timely responses or escalation to the appropriate team members
- Support sales operations processes and administrative activities to improve team efficiency and productivity
- Assist with process documentation and operational workflow improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, SDR, Marketing, and other internal teams as needed
- Utilize AI tools and automation platforms to improve research, reporting, and operational workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, business operations, administrative support, or a related role preferred
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data management functions
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools and productivity platforms to support operational workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting SDR or Sales teams
- Experience with lead management and sales reporting
- Familiarity with sales prospecting and market research processes
- Experience working in a technology or SaaS environment is a plus
