About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers working across TypeScript, React, Kotlin, Java, and DevOps tooling
  • Shape the architecture and technical direction of scalable applications using modern technologies
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software by guiding design decisions, roadmapping, and execution
  • Partner with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices in code quality, testing, observability, and deployment
  • Drive initiatives to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability using Grafana, New Relic, K8S, and Jenkins
  • Optimize development workflows and CI/CD pipelines to improve team efficiency and release velocity
  • Support hiring efforts and foster a culture of growth, ownership, and continuous learning

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams, ideally with a full-stack focus
  • Strong hands-on background in TypeScript, React, Kotlin, Java, and GraphQL
  • Deep understanding of modern web architecture and scalable backend systems
  • Experience with DevOps tools: Grafana, New Relic, Kubernetes (K8S), Jenkins
  • Knowledge of API design, including JSON-RPC, refresh token strategies, and integration patterns
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering production-grade systems
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Nice-to-have: Background in security best practices for distributed systems
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to model-building, applied formulas, and domain-specific system design
