About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead delivery of an important Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) program
Serve as the primary point of contact and interface with CMS leadership, the Contracting Officer's Representative, program stakeholders, and subcontractors
Lead multidisciplinary teams supporting statistical sampling reviews, overpayment estimation analyses, appeals support activities, trend analysis and reporting, and methodology governance initiatives
Coordinate closely with the Senior Statistician to ensure technical quality and timely delivery of analytical products
Ensure analytical outputs support CMS program integrity objectives and operational decision-making
Maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, staffing plans, risk registers, and quality management plans
Ensure timely communication regarding project status, risks, and emerging issues
Oversee overall contract performance, stakeholder engagement, project governance, quality management, reporting, risk management, and coordination of statistical review activities supporting Medicare overpayment estimation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and six (6) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree in one of these fields or a related discipline and eight (8) years of relevant experience
Current project management certification, such as PMP
Experience supervising analytical, statistical, audit, compliance, or program integrity activities
U.S. work authorization required; applicants must indicate their authorization status
Current state of residence in the United States required in the application
